GROUP LESSON
Our group lessons provide a dynamic and supportive environment where fencers build strong fundamentals, sharpen technique, and develop confidence through guided practice with peers. In addition to improving footwork, timing, and strategy, group training fosters camaraderie, sportsmanship, and adaptability by exposing students to a variety of styles and skill levels. It is an engaging way to grow both as an athlete and as part of a vibrant fencing community.
Since the instruction is progressive, students are encouraged to attend all lessons, and there is no refund for missed lessons. Group Lessons are scheduled in four lesson sessions. The fee is per session.
PRIVATE LESSON
Our private lessons offer personalized, one-on-one instruction designed to accelerate growth and refine technique at every level. With focused coaching tailored to each fencer’s strengths and goals, students receive immediate feedback, stronger fundamentals, and a more accelerated path to confidence and mastery. Private training is an ideal way to deepen skill, correct habits, and make meaningful progress with precision and purpose. Please schedule Private Lessons directly with the coaches.
EQUIPMENT AND UNIFORM
1. DFA supplies new students with a mask, jacket, chest protector, glove, and weapon.
2. Fencers are encouraged to purchase their own equipment as they continue their fencing experience.
DFA MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP FEE
1. All fencers must be DFA members to receive lessons at DFA
2. New fencers become DFA members after receiving 2 months of instruction at DFA.
3. The DFA Monthly Membership Fee includes all open fencing sessions.
The Fee Schedule is subject to change with one month’s notice.
UNITED STATES FENCING ASSOCIATION
The Desert Fencing Academy is a member club of the United States Fencing Association (USFA). A benefit DFA receives from club membership is liability insurance coverage through USFA. USFA requires that all club members be USFA members.
